High Pressure / Low Volume Fire Pumps
Hale high pressure fire pumps have been designed to deliver the performance you demand, whenever you demand it. We achieve high pressure with a single high-speed impeller drive via a single stage low-maintenance gearbox.
- Using an impeller drive instead of a belt-drive increases durability and decreases the need for regular inspection.
- Using a single stage pump instead of a multi-stage pump reduces bulk, complexity and maintenance.
With maximum pressure of 220-375 PSI*, and maximum flows of 110-155 US GPM,* Hale high pressure pumps are ideal for wildland firefighting applications.
High Pressure Fire Pump Features
Product quality and the ongoing cost of maintenance are important factors when choosing a pump. To help reduce the total cost of ownership, we have designed high-quality, low-maintenance features with fewer wearing parts to replace at service intervals.
- The pump body is hard-anodized for low-weight and high durability.
- The impellers and replaceable wear-rings are bronze for extended life and corrosion resistance.
- The mechanical seal is easily accessed, self-adjusting and self-lubricating for long-life and low maintenance.
- Our standard range has three engine options, 18 HP gasoline, 9 HP diesel and 24 HP diesel. Understanding how crucial the engine is in a pump, we partner with carefully selected engine manufacturers who share our passion for performance and durability: Briggs & Stratton, Kubota, and Yanmar.
- All high pressure pumps have electric start. The HPX75 units also have the reassurance of a recoil start back-up. The HPX75-YD9 comes with a compact hand-primer, the HPX100-KBD24 is equipped with a high-performance rotary vane primer.

Medium Pressure / Medium Volume Fire Pumps: Attack Pumps
Hale Attack fire pumps have been designed to deliver flexibility, durability and performance at high or low pressures. Our HP200 pump series uses a single high-efficiency impeller directly coupled to industrial engines.
With maximum pressure of 160-175 PSI* and maximum flows 245-265 US GPM,* Hale Attack pumps are ideal for wildland firefighting applications.
Medium Pressure Fire Pump Features
- The pump body is hard-anodized aluminum for low-weight and high durability.
- The impellers and replaceable wear-rings are bronze for extended life and corrosion resistance.
- The mechanical seal is easily accessed, self-adjusting and self-lubricating for long-life and low maintenance.
- Our standard range has three engine options, 18 HP gasoline, 23 HP gasoline and 24 HP diesel. Understanding how crucial the engine is in a pump, we partner with carefully selected engine manufacturers who share our passion for performance and durability: Briggs & Stratton and Kubota.
