MIV full flow butterfly design valve is located behind the operator panel - no unsightly bulky valve hanging outside the running boards. Cycles from full closed to full open position in more than 3 seconds. The patented Hale Master Intake Valve becomes an integral part of the fire pump.
- Mounts in fire pump suction. The MIV is normally sandwiched between the suction extension and suction tube. Since the valve is located behind the operator panel, the only components visible on the operator panel are the placards with indicators and a handwheel. There is no unsighlty bulky valve hanging outside the running boards creating safety hazard or obstructing other pump operating components.
- Full flow bore and butterfly disc design. The oversized diamter bore and streamlined butterfly disc design allows the Hale MIV to remain in place during high volume draft operations.
- Brass body construction eliminates corroded aluminum suction valve failures or sticking problems.
- Remote mountable placard with lights indivated valve position.
- Available in manual and electric configurations.
